May 18, 2005-- Responding to stronger-than-expected consumer demand for high-capacity flash memory cards that are needed for music and video-playing in Sony's fast-selling PlayStation Portable (PSP), SanDisk today introduced a 2-gigabyte (GB) Memory Stick PRO Duo Gaming Card to provide PSP owners with plenty of removable storage for video clips, MP3 music tracks, digital still photos and game data. The announcement was made at Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), where SanDisk is showing its gaming cards and accessories in Kentia Hall, Meeting Room 7008 of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Feb. 2005-- With growing sales of high-resolution digital cameras, video camcorders and other electronic devices that require more memory and speed, SanDisk Corporation today announced a 2-gigabyte (GB) Memory Stick PRO Duo flash storage card and a new Memory Stick PRO Duo family in the SanDisk Ultra II line. The announcements were made during the Photo Marketing Association (PMA) show at the Orange County Convention Center, where SanDisk is exhibiting in Booth 2408.

AUGUST 2004 – When a demolition crew set off an explosion to bring down an old highway bridge on the Mississippi River, newspaper photographer Don Frazier was so close that his hair stood on end. Feb. 11, 2004-- SanDisk today announced a new line of inexpensive flash memory cards designed to allow users to save their pictures indefinitely without using a computer for downloading, thus giving millions of consumers a major incentive to switch from film to digital photography and providing them with a durable, permanent way to store a lifetime of images. With an initial suggested retail price of $14.99 each -- a breakthrough in the industry -- the Shoot & Store cards are expected to allow people to order prints on a "cost-of-use" basis that is equal to or less than that of traditional analog film. MARCH 2003 – SanDisk just today introduced a four gigabyte (GB) CompactFlash (CF) card, the world's largest capacity CompactFlash memory card. With the new announcement, SanDisk is leveraging its production 0.13 micron NAND flash technology and a new advanced high density component package to quadruple the capacity of its largest capacity CF card.
