 Sansa slotMusic Player October 15, 2008 –SanDisk today unveiled the Sansa slotMusic Player, the easiest MP3 player for loading and listening to music on the go. The plug & play, portable music player was specially designed for use with the new slotMusic cards available today in the United States. SanDisk Announces World’s Largest Mobile Phone Memory Card Capacity

September 29, 2008 -- SanDisk Corporation, a global leader in flash memory products, today announced it is bringing to market its 16GB microSDHC and Memory Stick Micro (M2) mobile memory cards - the world’s largest removable storage capacity for mobile phones. Best Buy Mobile and Verizon Wireless stores are the first major retail outlets in the United States to carry the 16GB capacity.

Sandisk Boosts SD Card Speed by Fifty Percent

August 27, 2008 – SanDisk Corporation today set a new speed record of 30 megabytes per second for SD flash memory cards with the introduction of the SanDisk Extreme III 30MB/s Edition line of SDHC Cards. The new cards, expected to be available worldwide in September in 4-gigabyte (GB), 8GB and 16GB capacities, are designed to deliver peak performance when used with the new digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera, Nikon D90.

The Nikon D90 is the industry’s first DSLR camera to support SanDisk Extreme III 30MB/s Edition SDHC cards at increased performance. SanDisk Doubles the Music and Video Fun

January 7, 2008 – SanDisk today announced capacity increases for two of its most popular flash-based digital media players: the tiny Sansa Clip moves to a top capacity of 4 gigabytes (GB) from 2 GB, while the powerful Sansa View jumps to 32 GB from a previous top capacity of 16 GB.  SanDisk sansa Shaker SanDisk must have minor children working for them in R&D (Research & Development) — because they have one cool product on their hands. Well … now in the hands of kids! The sansa Shaker MP3 Player is really the perfect MP3 Player for all because of its built in speaker.

SanDisk has done a great job developing products for all people, and this product does exactly what it is supposed to … perfectly. On the exterior of the packaging it says, “Ages 8 and up!” So of course my brilliant four year old can handle the task of product reviewer.

Immediately after opening the package, and placing the battery (one AAA) inside, I handed the sansa player over to the little hands. No instruction from me, and within three minutes the pre-loaded children’s songs were playing. “Daddy, Daddy, check this out! It plays music!” Read more
