Yahoo! Widgetized TV from Samsung

Yahoo! Widgets on Samsung TV Yahoo! is teaming up with Samsung to bring on demand content directly to the television from the internet. The TV adapted version of the Yahoo! Widget Engine is dubbed Internet@TV - Content Service.

TV Widgets will include Yahoo! content (Flickr, News, Weather and Finance), USA Today, YouTube, and eBay. Many other widgets are planned and announced too. Like on many other devices and platforms, a service from Netflix will be available. No word on that widget's features though. Many widgets will fit nicely in supplying information on demand. However, I wonder about those that really require more interaction like Twitter, eBay and MySpace.

Samsung X360 Ultra-Lightweight Laptop with Fingerprint Authentication

Samsung X360This notebook is Samsung's first consumer laptop to integrate fingerprint sensors. Using AuthenTec's sensor makes for a convenient and secure usage of fingerprint authentication.

The lightweight notebook is a full featured multimedia PC despite only weighing 2.8 pounds. The 13.3 inch computer includes 3 USB ports and an HDMI connection. The Lithiumn Ion battery should provide a long runtime in part because the X360 uses a 128GB solid stated drive. This SSD is a big deal for lots of reasons since there are no moving parts for storage, like less heat generation, the computer is quieter and more rugged.
