Samsung's highest performance 1080p LCD goes global next month!

 Samsung XL2370

Samsung's new XL2370 monitor is a 23-inch LED backlit model from Samsung's "Touch of Color" lineup sporting a 2ms response and a full 1080p resolution. The XL2370 also features a "finger-slim" design similar to the 0.65-inch depth of the P2370L model, a dynamic contrast ratio of 5M:1 and VOC-free crystal-like bezel frame to help reduce glare.

Also, note that the XL2370 uses about 40% less power than other LCD models that are currently available in this size. The glossy stand offers a polished design, while the clear, crystal-like acrylic neck gives the illusion that the monitor is floating.

The XL2370 will don the title of Samsung's "highest performance monitor" when it launches in Korea in mid-July. The XL2370 will make its way to its Europe and "other parts of the world" in August.

Samsung has NEW Mini Notebooks

 Samsung N110

Affordable computing means having a good looking, functional computer that delivers on your expectations. The NEW N110 has an MSRP of $469 and the N120 has an MSRP of $459. The battery life on these machines can go for six-hours on one charge for the N120 and nine-hours for N110. It is a good idea to not have all of your data on one machine (use an external hard drive, cloud computing storage, or a home desktop/laptop for all backup files). This new Notebook line is affordable to the point that you can pick this Samsung N110 or N120 up as a second computer.

Both of these notebooks weigh in at an astonishing 2.78 lbs., with a keyboard that is 93% of the size of a standard keyboard. The screen is a backlit SuperBright Glossy 10-inch display to ensure enjoyment of the videos I am sure you are watching.

There is not much difference in these two machines for a $10 MSRP price variance. As with all purchases, make sure you do your research first. The good news is that these little powerhouse notebooks come with a 160GB hard drive (5400 rpm SATA), 1GB of memory, Genuine Windows XP Home operating system (What? No Vista?) and an Intel Atom Processor N270 (1.6GHz, 533MHz, 512KB).

Samsung Intros Dual Ice Maker Refrigerators

 Samsung RF268 Samsung RFG298

Samsung Electronics just introduced a new line of refrigerators – two of them with dual ice makers! Now, anyone who knows me well knows that I like my ice. So this was one announcement that certainly caught my eye. Here is more info:

An external filtered water and ice dispenser is located in the refrigerator and an additional ice maker is in the freezer. The dual (independently operated) ice makers don't take up additional space in the interior of the refrigerator and can be turned on and off. This set up is said to make more than one and a half times the ice of their current models.

Two dual ice maker refrigerators are offered. The RFG298 features 28.5 cu. ft. and also has the largest storage capacity in a French Door Refrigerator, with an extra 3 cu. ft. of space over standard French Doors. And the RF268 also has a spacious interior at 26 cu. ft., offering more storage room over standard French Doors.

The RFG298 will be available in May in stainless ($2,999), platinum ($2,899), black ($2,699) and white ($2,699). The RF268 will be available in June in stainless ($2,499), platinum ($2,399), black ($2,199) and white ($2,199).

Why hasn't anyone thought of this before? Way to go, Samsung! Now if I could only come up with an extra $3000…
