Radisson Hotels Newest Features
After a long day of sightseeing, or even business meetings, in an unfamiliar city, sometimes all you really want to do is sleep. But wait! That nagging feeling in the pit of your stomach is telling you it needs food. And McDonalds is not an option. Rather than wandering through an unfamiliar city, searching for a relatively healthy option, Radisson Hotels and Resorts now provide an easier solution—Tasteful Choices.
Developed by chefs at the CIA—the Culinary Institute of America, that is, the 15 breakfast, lunch, and dinner entrees fall into one of four categories: low-calorie, low-carb, low-fat, and rich—which means flavorful, not fattening.
The Vice President of the Culinary Institute of America had this to say about his new dishes: “Food tastes best, and is best for us, when it is prepared in its simplest form with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Our collaboration with the Tasteful Choices menu recipe collection honors this basic cooking principal.” Items selected from this menu are appropriate for any occasion—from a delicious breakfast in bed to a celebratory meal. Examples of new menu items include a Lump Crab and Forest Mushroom Breakfast Omelet with Mascarpone and Grilled Marinated Flat Iron Steak with Caramelized Onions and Artisan Blue Cheese.
After a delicious meal, Radisson once again has the perfect option for rest, relaxation, and slumber. Select North American hotels are now offering Sleep Number beds by Select ComfortTM. A Sleep Number bed is essentially a glorified air mattress—but oh, what an air mattress. Compartmentalized air chambers are attached to a Firmness Control system that allows each user to adjust the firmness to their own personal comfort level, on a scale from 0-100. Sleeping with someone? The Firmness Control system allows for separate adjusting of each side of the bed, to ensure you both get a restful night’s sleep.
When you wake up feeling rejuvenated the next morning, skip the hassle of checkout by taking advantage of Radisson’s newest service— Express Yourself. Anytime in the 7 prior days to your reservation, you can check-in online using the Express Yourself service, which also allows you to choose your room preferences. A check-in pass will appear for you to print, which you present at the Express Yourself desk to receive your room key. And that’s it—no credit cards, no lines, and no checkout process. A room bill will be sent to your e-mail account after your departure. Through June 30, 2006, Gold Points members receive 1,000 bonus points when they choose to use Express Yourself.
Find out more about these services, sign up for Gold Points, and book your hotel reservations today at www.radisson.com. Once you’ve experienced the comfort of Sleep Number beds, you can also order your own at www.selectcomfort.com.
