Epson Outs PowerLite 1221 and PowerLite 1261W Business Projectors

Epson has certainly been rolling out the projectors recently. Just last week they announced the PowerLite 1880 and 1850W, two projectors for businesses on a budget. Today Epson is bringing us the new PowerLite 1221 and 1261W, two easy-to-use projectors designed for small and medium-sized businesses.

These 3LCD projectors deliver 2800 lumens color/white light output and can be easily set up in any room with automatic vertical automatic vertical keystone and new Easy-Slide technology, an intuitive horizontal keystone adjustment slider for easy image alignment. The PowerLite 1221 features XGA resolution, while the PowerLite 1261W has WXGA resolution for widescreen viewing.

In addition, both portable projectors offer USB Plug 'n Play for projecting video and audio from a computer (PC or Mac) via a USB connection and an HDMI connection for high-definition video content. Epson today unveiled two new affordable projectors geared toward small and medium-sized businesses– the Epson PowerLite 1220 and the PowerLite 1260.

The PowerLite 1220 features XGA resolution and the PowerLite 1260 touts widescreen WXGA resolution (16:10 aspect ratio). Both projectors offer 2600 lumens color and white light output.

Priced at $649, the Epson PowerLite 1220 comes packed with features normally found on higher end models, including USB Plug 'n Play Instant Setup and an additional USB port, allowing you to connect a USB device and display your slideshow presentation without a computer. Epson just announced that their brightest projector to date, the PowerLite Pro Z8000WUNL, is now shipping to pro audio/video dealers and installers.

While this projector is designed for use in large venues such as auditoriums, we found it newsworthy for a couple of reasons – first, this projector delivers 6,000 lumens color light output and 6,000 lumens white light output and is the industry's only 3LCD WUXGA projector. Secondly, Epson delivers quality products. We have been fans of Epson's projectors, printers and scanners for years…and they haven't let us down yet.
