PowerLite

Epson has certainly been rolling out the projectors recently. Just last week they announced the PowerLite 1880 and 1850W, two projectors for businesses on a budget. Today Epson is bringing us the new PowerLite 1221 and 1261W, two easy-to-use projectors designed for small and medium-sized businesses.

These 3LCD projectors deliver 2800 lumens color/white light output and can be easily set up in any room with automatic vertical automatic vertical keystone and new Easy-Slide technology, an intuitive horizontal keystone adjustment slider for easy image alignment. The PowerLite 1221 features XGA resolution, while the PowerLite 1261W has WXGA resolution for widescreen viewing.

In addition, both portable projectors offer USB Plug 'n Play for projecting video and audio from a computer (PC or Mac) via a USB connection and an HDMI connection for high-definition video content. Thanks to Epson's E-TORL lamp technology, you'll get a lamp life of up to 5,000 hours in economy mode.Read more

A good ultra-bright portable projector can cost thousands of dollars, an amount not every business professional can spend. The folks over at Epson know this, so they developed two new projectors that not only deliver brightness, high-quality images and advanced features, but do so at an affordable price - the PowerLite 1880 and 1850W.

The new PowerLite 1880 delivers 4,000 lumens color/white light output with XGA resolution, while the PowerLite 1850W offers 3,700 lumens color/white light output and WXGA resolution for use with widescreen notebooks or tablets. We have some good news for road warriors today! Epson's ultra-portable PowerLite 1700-series 3LCD projectors are now available. Catching everyone's attention when they were introduced at InfoComm this summer, the PowerLite 1750, 1760W, 1770W, and 1775W are super-slim at 1.7-inches tall and weigh less than 4 pounds.

The PowerLite 1750 and 1760W offer 2600 lumens of color and white light output, and the PowerLite 1770W and 1775W offer 3000 lumens of color and white light output. The PowerLite 1750 features XGA resolution, while the PowerLite 1760W, 1770W and 1775W all feature WXGA resolution (16:10 aspect ratio) for use with widescreen laptops and DVD content. When it comes to projectors, brighter is better; and Epson certainly delivers with its latest PowerLite Pro G-Series and PowerLite 4000-Series projectors. Both series were designed for business and installation markets, and in addition to high-brightness, they offer excellent color performance.

The new models in the PowerLite Pro G-Series offer lumen and resolution combinations to meet any installation need. The lineup includes the PowerLite Pro G5550NL (4,500 lumens/XGA), G5650WNL (4,500 lumens/WXGA) and G5950NL (5,200 lumens/WXGA). Epson today unveiled two new affordable projectors geared toward small and medium-sized businesses– the Epson PowerLite 1220 and the PowerLite 1260.

The PowerLite 1220 features XGA resolution and the PowerLite 1260 touts widescreen WXGA resolution (16:10 aspect ratio). Both projectors offer 2600 lumens color and white light output.

Priced at $649, the Epson PowerLite 1220 comes packed with features normally found on higher end models, including USB Plug 'n Play Instant Setup and an additional USB port, allowing you to connect a USB device and display your slideshow presentation without a computer. The PowerLite 1260, available for $749, adds an HDMI audio/video connection.Read more

We've always been happy with the picture quality from Epson's projectors, but now they're even better! Epson announced today that the company's PowerLite Home Cinema 8500 UB and Pro Cinema 9500 UB projectors have received THX certification.

Both of these 1080p 3LCD home theater projectors now have THX Certified picture quality, color, and detail – quite a big deal if you want to experience studio quality movie viewing! The projectors also feature a THX Movie Mode, a setting that gives you studio color, black levels and clean signal processing right out-of-the-box.

Epson just announced that their brightest projector to date, the PowerLite Pro Z8000WUNL, is now shipping to pro audio/video dealers and installers.

While this projector is designed for use in large venues such as auditoriums, we found it newsworthy for a couple of reasons – first, this projector delivers 6,000 lumens color light output and 6,000 lumens white light output and is the industry's only 3LCD WUXGA projector. Secondly, Epson delivers quality products. We have been fans of Epson's projectors, printers and scanners for years…and they haven't let us down yet.

The PowerLite Pro Z8000WUNL delivers 6,000 lumens color light output and 6,000 lumens white light output and features 1920 x 1200 native resolution, up to 5000:1 contrast ratio, an innovative liquid cooling system, durable optical chips, and a dual-lamp design.
