Toshiba Intros Portege R700 with 4G WiMAX

Toshiba introduced two 4G WiMAX-ready models of the Portégé R700 this week to meet the growing demand. WiMAX is available now in 54 cities and is expected to be available in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Minneapolis, New York and Pittsburgh by the end of 2010.

The Portégé R700-S1332W features the Intel Core i7 processor and a 128GB solid state drive, while the Portégé R700-S1322W features the Intel Core i5 processor and a 320GB high-speed 7200 RPM hard drive. Both include a 13.3-inch HD widescreen LED-backlit display, 4GB of DDR3 memory, an ExpressCard slot, an eSATA/USB combo port with Sleep-and-Charge, as well as a built-in DVD SuperMulti drive and Webcam.
