Epson just announced a compact photo printer like you've never seen before! The PictureMate Show is a portable two-in-one 4" x 6" photo printer and digital photo frame. Now you can show off your photos and print them with just one device.

PictureMate Show features a seven-inch, 16:9 tilt digital photo display with 800 x 480 dpi WVGA resolution. It includes 270 MB internal memory, so there is plenty of room for storing your digital photos to run as a slideshow, or just to keep them and reprint later.

The 4" x 6" photo printer features the highest maximum print resolution in its class (5760 x 1440 dpi), and can print photos in as fast as 37 seconds. The PictureMate Show can print custom sizes too - from 0.3" x 0.3" to 4" x 6" - great for photo keychains, passports, and more.Read more

Epson PictureMate Charm - an Affordable, Portable Photo Printer

The PictureMate Charm is the newest portable 4"x6" photo printer in Epson's PictureMate line. Featuring a 2.5-inch LCD for one-touch printing with or without a computer, built-in memory card slots, and the ability to print wirelessly from camera cell phones via optional Bluetooth adapter, the Charm is …well…a charm of a portable printer! It also delivers smudge, scratch and water resistant photos that last up to four times longer than film-processed photos.

Tools are also included to crop photos, remove red eye, and change the photo color to black and white, sepia or color - right from the printer, with no computer needed. Pictures are then printed using Epson's PictureMate Print Packs, which include ink and either 150 sheets of 4"x6" glossy paper or 100 sheets of 4"x6" matte paper.

Canon's New SELPHY ES40 Photo Printer Talks to You

Canon just introduced the new SELPHY ES40 Compact Photo Printer. This portable printer has ink and paper in one cartridge and prints color or black and white images in either credit card or postcard sizes. But what makes this portable printer different is it talks to you! It has a voice guidance system that gives you step-by-step instructions for printing and adding graphics to images without having to read the manual. Because, really, who reads the manual anyway?

The printer also features a, large 3.5-inch LCD screen, Easy Scroll Wheel and a Creative Print function that lets you add things like stamps, frames, and effects to your pictures. Its Portrait Image Optimize feature has face detection, backlight correction and noise reduction, as well.

The SELPHY ES40 doesn't need to be connected to a computer to print photos. You can print directly from your memory card, camera or Bluetooth device. It will be available in September 2009 with an MSRP of $149.99.

Dell just announced the new Wasabi PZ310 ultra-mobile printer. This compact printer measures just 4.8 in. x 2.8 in. x 0.9 in. and weighs only 7 ounces – throw it in your purse, backpack or pocket for wireless printing when you want it.
