New ANSMANN Chargers

Energy 16Ansmann is introducing two totally new battery chargers at PMA. In today’s modern environment, batteries of all sizes are in everyday use. To help eliminate the confusion that results with keeping all of these properly charged Ansmann is introducing their New Energy 16 charging center for NiMh and NiCd cells. The Energy 16 system charges one to twelve AA or AAA cells, or one to six C or D cells or any combination of AA/AAA/C/D cells plus up to four-9V NiMh or NiCd cells!

The microprocessor controlled Energy 16 system automatically tests each cell for condition, automatically refreshes or discharges them, if necessary, then switches each cell to fast charge and when fully charged to a pulsed trickle charge. If any problems are detected during charging or if a cell is improperly installed an LED will indicate which cell has a problem!

The Energy 16 charges up to twelve 1800 mAh, NiMh AA cells to full charge in 3 hours! It operates on any current from 100 to 240V/50 to 60 Hz and automatically detects and switches to the line proper voltage and current!

The charger also automatically supplies the proper battery charging current from 70 mAh to 9000 mAh depending on the type of cell being charged! It charges AA cells up to 2300 mAh so it won’t be outgrown by technology!

The Energy 16 is supplied with both US and EU plugs and has a 3-year warranty.

PHOTOCAM SET
For 120 V operation only Ansmann is introducing their new, lower priced, Photocam Power set with four 1800 mAh NiMh Ansmann AA cells!

The Photocam Power set accepts one to four AA or AAA NiMH cells and fully charges them in 8 hours (for 1800 mAh AA cells). It then automatically switches off to guard against over charging! LED’s indicate when charging is complete and it will charge AA cells from 1200 to 1800 mAh and AAA cells from 450 to 700 mAh! AA and AAA cells can be intermixed and any number of cells from 1 to 4 can be charged!

LIGHT FROM ANSMANN
Ansmann not only powers but they also illuminate, at PMA Ansmann is introducing their new Future-Xenon pocket flashlight.

The Future-Xenon measures just 5” long but is powered by two CR123 A Lithium 6 V cells and is uses a 5V/1A lamp for extremely high output.

The Future-Xenon is made from aircraft aluminum and is highly water resistant due to “0” rings at 4 points!

The Xenon lamp can be turned on briefly at the push of a button or continuously by rotating the end of the unit!

The light cone can be increased or decreased by rotating the front of the future-Xenon.

Thanks to its construction details, “0” rings, springs, aircraft aluminum, etc. the Future-Xenon is highly shockproof as well as scratchproof. And thank to its Xenon bulb and lithium cells it is substantially brighter then much larger and heavier sized flashlights powered by AA/C or D cells.
