Fujifilm Adds to 35mm Camera Line Up with Zoom Date 1300
“The Zoom Date 1300, which expands the line of our wide angle point and shoot cameras, delivers a powerful zoom and features the high-quality performance of Fujifilm cameras,” said Margaret Toub, Optical Product Manager, Consumer Markets Division, Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc. “We feel that the Zoom Date 1300 will continue to meet the popular demand of advanced photographers who want a feature-packed camera while still delivering ease-of-use.”
The Zoom Date 1300 features an extra large LCD panel that is easy to read in any lighting thanks to the green backlight on the LCD display. The LCD indicates functions including the sequential self-timer, focus, battery life, remaining exposures, flash settings and time/date settings. The light changes from green to orange to alert the photographer when a function has changed.
The camera features several different photo modes including: Fill-in Flash, Flash-off, Red-eye Reduction, Night Portrait and Landscape. Also, to ensure the best photos in low light, the Zoom Date 1300 has a Digital-Programmed Zoom Flash that automatically adjusts flash-power for distance from subject as well as ambient light.
A remote control for the Zoom Date 1300 is included, which lets the photographer join the fun and operate the shutter release from up to five meters away.
The Fujifilm Zoom Date 1300 will be available in April 2002 at a manufacturer’s suggested list price of $349.95 including Fujicolor film, battery, remote control and case.
