In time for the holiday season, Pioneer is introducing its first line of iPhone Sound Docks. Available in November, the XW-NAS3 and XW-NAS5 will feature a 2.1 channel digital amplifier with included subwoofer. Fine tuned by Pioneer speaker designer and engineer, Andrew Jones, the audio system is complete with a component and composite video output to play stored movies, TV shows and streaming A/V entertainment on a television.

Both sound docks are Bluetooth ready so they can receive wireless music from PCs and cell phones, including the iPhone 3GS with optional BT-100 accessory. For the audiophile, the XW-NAS5 also features Pioneer's proprietary sound enhancements including Advanced Sound Retriever and Auto Level Control.

The ZW-NAS3 has an MSRP of $399 and the XW-NAS5 is $499. Both will be available in November 2009.

Pioneer's flagship Blu-ray Disc player, the Elite BDP-09 is the world's first Blu-ray Disc player to achieve THX certification. The BDP-09 is BD-Live Compatible and has 4GB of Internal Memory, 8 Wolfson Audio DACS, PQLS Jitter Free Audio Transmission, and 16-Bit Video Processing LSI. The BDP-09 is available now for $2200.

A perfect complement to the BDP-09, Pioneer announced that its Elite EX Series in-wall speakers have attained THX Select2 certification as well. Add to that Pioneer's top-of-the-line Elite A/V Receivers (which are the world's first and only THX Ultra2 Plus Certified receivers with Class D digital amplification) and you've got a complete THX Certified audio video system with sound and features that are hard to beat.

The Pioneer DVR-XD09 features the industry's most compact DVD/CD write design to date. The new DVR-XD09 weighs approximately 8 ounces and has an overall size that is slightly larger than a music CD case. Simply connecting the DVR-XD09 to a PC through the USB 2.0 port allows users to easily transport, connect and back up valuable data files in virtually any location setting as well as across multiple computers.
