Pine Trail

MSI Computer yesterday announced the availability of the MSI Wind U135 netbook. These special edition netbooks are the first to feature the Intel Pine Trail Platform with the Atom N450 processor.

The Wind U135 Special Edition netbook features a 160GB or 250GB hard drive, 1GB of DDR2 memory and Windows 7 Starter. MSI also packed in a 1.3M webcam, D-Sub port, 3 USB 2.0 ports and 4x1 card reader. Read more

Acer just announced that they have updated the Aspire One netbook line with the introduction of the new Aspire One AO532h netbooks. The new netbooks are only 1-inch thin, weigh just over 2-1/2 pounds, and feature the Intel Atom N450 processor, up to 10 hours of battery life, Wi-Fi connectivity, a 10.1-inch LED-backlit TFT LCD and a large keyboard with a Multi-Gesture touchpad.

The netbooks also include a built-in webcam, built-in digital microphone, and a large internal hard drive. Several of the new netbooks even include Windows 7 Starter Edition.

The Acer Aspire One AO532h netbooks will be available later this month, starting at just $299.99.Read more
