Olympus has raised the bar in the professional digital camera market introducing its Camedia E-10, the world's first 4-million pixel SLR digital camera. The camera looks and feels like a 35 mm SLR and offers an array of interchangeable lenses, a battery pack adapter, flash options and holds both compact flash and smart media cards. What really makes the E-10 shine is its $1,999 price point --making it not only the best featured digital on the market, but a great deal for the prosumer crowd as well.

The crowd was also treated to the Olympus Camedia E-100 RS. Billed as the world's fastest digital camera, the 1.5 million pixel Olympus delivers Olympic sprinter speeds of up to 15 frames per second. What's cool about this camera is its Pre Capture option that starts taking pictures before you press the shutter button all the way down. In fact, it takes 5 pictures of the same shot allowing you to choose which one you like best from its LCD display screen. It will sell for $1,500.
Both cameras will be available in October.
