Memeo Share – creating a Sharing Circle

This week, Memeo released the new version of their photo-sharing software, Memeo Share.

  • Backup your photos and videos and retrieve them if your hard drive crashes

Snap2Twitter: Tweet your Camera Phone Photos Easily

 Snap2Twitter screenshot

I told you about the mobile photo sharing site SnapMyLife back in March. Now, jumping on the Twitter bandwagon, they have introduced Snap2Twitter, a free Twitter application for BlackBerry or iPhone users that lets you take a photo (or use a picture already on your phone), add text, tweet it and save the photo on the SnapMyLife site.

And hey…Michael Papajohn, who co-stars in Terminator Salvation, Land of the Lost and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen uses Snap2Twitter to tweet behind-the-scenes pictures of his movie premieres, on-location shoots and more, so it is certainly worth checking out...and remember, it's free!

For more information and to download the free Snap2Twitter app, visit www.blackberry.com/appworld from your BlackBerry smartphone or www.apple.com/iphone/appstore from your iPhone.

Upload Videos Automatically with Eye-Fi

 Photos on website

According to the Consumer Electronics Association's 2009 report Digital Imaging - A Focus on Sharing, more than 40% of consumers who share videos think it takes too much time to upload them. They won't be thinking that anymore. Now, with Eye-Fi's newest wireless memory cards, you can upload your videos wirelessly and automatically directly from your digital camera to Picasa, Photobucket, SmugMug, YouTube and Flickr. You don't even have to turn on your camera! Could it get any easier than that?

The 4GB Eye-Fi Share Video and Eye-Fi Explore Video cards also automatically geotag photos and videos with location information of where the video or picture was taken. Hotspot access is available from more than 10,000 Wayport and open hotspot locations in the United States to upload when you're away from home.

Eye-Fi's newest wireless SD memory cards are now available with an MSRP of $79 (4GB Eye-Fi Share Video) and $99 (4GB Eye-Fi Explore Video).
