Epson has added a new compact 17-inch printer to their lineup– the Epson Stylus Pro 3880. The printer gives you gallery quality prints up to 17" x 22", thanks to its MicroPiezo AMC print head and UltraChrome K3 with Vivid Magenta ink technology.

Epson Stylus Pro 3880 features:

Canon just introduced the new SELPHY ES40 Compact Photo Printer. This portable printer has ink and paper in one cartridge and prints color or black and white images in either credit card or postcard sizes. But what makes this portable printer different is it talks to you! It has a voice guidance system that gives you step-by-step instructions for printing and adding graphics to images without having to read the manual. Because, really, who reads the manual anyway?

The printer also features a, large 3.5-inch LCD screen, Easy Scroll Wheel and a Creative Print function that lets you add things like stamps, frames, and effects to your pictures. Its Portrait Image Optimize feature has face detection, backlight correction and noise reduction, as well.

The SELPHY ES40 doesn't need to be connected to a computer to print photos. You can print directly from your memory card, camera or Bluetooth device. It will be available in September 2009 with an MSRP of $149.99.

The Epson Artisan 50 is an affordable (MSRP $99.99), high-performance single function ink jet printer. It helps enable users to produce Ultra Hi-Definition photos with excellent depth and clarity. Simple documents can be printed at speeds up to 38ppm in color, while the Artisan 50 can print laser-quality pages at 5ppm (black) and 4.8ppm (color).

Epson offers you the ability to be more eco-friendly by saving up to 50% of your paper with two-sided printing, is Energy Star qualified and RoHS compliant. The Artisan 50 is excellent for photos, too. It comes equipped with Auto Photo Correction and red-eye removal. Also, Epson has equipped the Artisan 50 with MicroPiezo technology, which gives your images superior quality without hindering your printing speed.

Expect to see the Artisan 50 at major retailers this June for an expected MSRP of $99.99.

KODAK just announced that their KODAK Gallery members (currently 75 million strong!) will be able to download high resolution versions of their pictures beginning next week. KODAK Gallery members will be able to easily access and download photos in the same resolution they were captured…and with no storage fees (unlike some other online photo services).

Dell just announced the new Wasabi PZ310 ultra-mobile printer. This compact printer measures just 4.8 in. x 2.8 in. x 0.9 in. and weighs only 7 ounces – throw it in your purse, backpack or pocket for wireless printing when you want it. It works with Bluetooth-enabled camera phones like the Blackberry Curve, Motorola RAZR V3 etc. (check the website for your cell phone’s compatibility), as well as digital cameras and mobile PCs. The Wasabi is easy to use as well…no drivers to install or any software to update. Just charge the battery and you’re good to go!

Were you afraid instant photo printing on-the-go was a thing of the past? Polaroid just announced the PoGo Instant Digital Camera, the first digital camera and instant printer combo.

The PoGo uses ZINK Zero Ink Printing - an ink-free printing technology that replaces ink cartridges with ZINK Paper - a composite material that has embedded, heat-activated dye crystals for 100 percent inkless printing. 2x3-inch sticky –backed photos can be viewed, edited and cropped on the three-inch color LCD screen before printing. Photos can be printed with or without borders.
