Sierra Wireless Unveils the AirPath Adapter at PC EXPO/ TECHNYX

Sierra Wireless just introduced new wireless modems with the Sierra Wireless AirPath adapter for the Sony CLIÉ and the Handspring Visor. Users can insert both CDPD and Ricochet versions of the Sierra Wireless AirCard family into the AirPath sleeve for anytime, anywhere access to corporate information and applications. Sierra Wireless' AirPath offers mobile users unparalleled flexibility in their choice of networks for a PDA. The Sierra Wireless AirCard 300, 510 and 400 for the Ricochet network will also be demonstrated at the show. The AirCard 300 is one of North America's most widely used wireless modems, the AirCard 510 for Notebooks is the worlds' first true Type II CDMA PC Card modem and the AirCard 400 provides users with access to email, Internet and intranet at 128 kbps - three times faster than a dial-up connection.
