New TiVo Premiere Streams Netflix, Amazon VOD, Blockbuster

TiVo just announced a box that does it all, the TiVo Premiere DVR. Available in April in two versions, the TiVo Premiere and TiVo Premiere XL, the boxes can access cable programming, movies, web videos, and music.

With the new TiVo Premiere, you can watch and search for movies from Netflix, Amazon Video On Demand and Blockbuster On Demand; view YouTube videos, listen to Pandora radio (in the coming months) and more.

The TiVo Premiere box has up to 45 hours of HD storage space or up to 400 hours of standard definition programming. The TiVo Premiere XL box holds up to 150 hours of HD or up to 1350 hours of standard definition programming. Both boxes will be available in April, with the Premiere priced at $299.99 and the Premiere XL $499.99.

Two new accessories were also announced; the TiVo Wireless N adapter which allows for faster downloads and content streaming and a new QWERTY TiVo remote. Both will be available in May. Read more

But what really makes this unit stand out is its ability to stream Pandora internet radio through a connected iPhone.

Queen Launches Absolute Greatest Album on Logitech Squeezebox

The rock band, Queen just announced that they are releasing their new album, Absolute Greatest – a compilation of the band's most popular songs – on November 16 in Europe and November 17 in the U.S. Want it before anyone else? You can get it (at a cost) by purchasing the new Logitech Squeezebox Radio Wi-Fi music player. Queen has teamed up with Logitech to offer Absolute Greatest on the player. As of today, Logitech Squeezebox owners can listen to the new Queen album before it hits the stores in November, along with viewing Queen photos and hearing track-by-track audio commentaries recorded by the band. All you need to do is select the Queen application found under the Squeezebox Radio's new Apps menu.

Launched earlier this month, the Logitech Squeezebox Radio Wi-Fi music player lets you listen to Internet radio from around the world, from online subscription services such as Last.fm, Napster and Pandora, as well as your personal music collection. The Squeezebox Radio also features a color screen and access to Facebook and Flickr. The Logitech Squeezebox Radio is available now for $199.99.

The HP DreamScreen allows you to stay current with Facebook friends, listen to Internet radio, share Snapfish photos and enjoy music from your home networked PCs. It has 2GB of memory, 802.11 b/g connectivity, and a card reader. Digital content can be loaded using a USB drive or flash memory cards.
