Rock-It Turns Anything into a Speaker

 Rock-It Portable Vibration Speaker System

Several months ago we told you about these cool, eco-friendly foldable speakers from OrigAudio. Now the company has added a new speaker, dubbed "Rock-It," to their lineup.

Once again, OrigAudio thinks outside the box when designing a new product, as Rock-It is a vibration speaker that will turn anything ("yes, anything," the company says) into a speaker. This is how it works. Rock-It takes music and turns it into vibration sequences and then sends them through the Rock-It "pod" which you can stick to any object and turn it instantly into a speaker. Simply press play on your device (iPod, MP3 player, mobile phone, laptop, etc.) and Rock-It will turn the object into a speaker.

The Rock-It portable vibration speaker system is available now for $49.99. Get more information on the OrigAudio website.

New Eco-Friendly, Foldable Portable Speakers

 OrigAudio

Here's something different. A new portable speaker was just announced, OrigAudio, "The Origami of Audio" (as the company says). These unique speakers are collapsible, self-powered and made of recycled material – great for the environmentally conscious. They plug into any headphone jack and fold flat enough to put away in a laptop bag or backpack when not in use.

Even better, they retail for only $16, and a portion of the proceeds benefit the Music National Service. You can even custom design your own speakers! I haven't had the opportunity to test the sound out on these yet, but hey, at just $16, what do you have to lose?

You can get more information on the speakers and see them in action at www.origaudio.com.
