Acer Announces Special Edition Olympic Games Notebooks and LCDs

Acer just announced that they will be providing more than 6,500 pieces of computing equipment and more than 100 engineers and technicians to support the management of the upcoming 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Products being used are the Veriton 1000 and TravelMate 6592 computers along with other gear.

Also, the company introduced a range of special edition products featuring the Acer Olympic Games composite logo, showing the Acer name and the Olympic rings together. All of the special edition notebooks and LCDs have the same specs as the standard models, the only difference being the Olympic rings logo on the lid and palm rest area of the notebooks.Read more
