Nokia at E3 Expo 2001

Nokia has today made a series of games related announcements at E3 Expo 2001 (May 17-19) held in Los Angeles. Nokia is again showing its commitment to the games industry by its presence at the world's largest game event for the 2nd year in a row. The company announced new entertainment content developed for the Nokia 9210 Communicator and new licensing agreements with games developers for the Nokia Mobile Entertainment Service. Nokia also demonstrated a wide range of mobile games and the Nokia Media Terminal, a recently launched home entertainment platform. New Nokia Comunicator Unveiled in Europe

Nokia 621012/05/2000 -- Nokia yesterday unveiled its first Bluetooth solution for wireless connectivity between a mobile phone and Personal Computer (PC). The Nokia Connectivity Pack is designed for people who desire freedom and flexibility in data communication. The Bluetooth wireless technology in the pack makes it possible to use the Nokia 6210 as a GSM modem to connect to a laptop within a range of 10 meters. The introduction of the Nokia Connectivity Pack with Bluetooth will enhance the Nokia 6210 as a versatile personal communication device. It facilitates the download of emails, Internet browsing, and fax sending, complementing the high speed data capabilities of up to 43.2 kpbs of the Nokia 6210.
