Nokia announced this week that Best Buy will be the only retailer selling the Booklet 3G netbook through the holiday season. It will be available for $299 to customers that sign up for a $60/mo. mobile service plan with AT&T. Don't want to sign up for the mobile plan? It will cost you $599.

The Booklet 3G features a 10.1 inch HD display, 120GB HDD, 1GB of RAM, Intel Atom processor, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Ovi Maps, Ovi Suite, webcam, Bluetooth, built-in SD card reader, and an HDMI port. Nokia also says that the netbook will have a 12-hour battery life when fully charged.

The Booklet 3G will be available to order on October 22, 2009…the same date as the launch of Windows 7, which is the operating system the Booklet runs on. It will be available in Best Buy stores around November 15th.

When I say thin – I mean it is the thinnest QWERTY smartphone on the market today. AT&T has this one exclusively for the U.S. market, and the 3G connectivity allows for more function than you could imagine for services like Kyte. The built-in music player and 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera make this device fun and functional. The WiFi allows for Web surfing and UMA calls.

This week at the CTIA Wireless 2009 trade show, Nokia is showing off the Nokia E71x QWERTY smartphone. It will be available to AT&T customers in the coming weeks for $99.99 with an AT&T contract.

Just to name a few of its features, the E71x is the thinnest QWERTY smartphone on the market and has 3G connectivity, a large, high-resolution screen, WiFi, built-in music player and a 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera.

The device's S60 platform also provides access to third-party application downloads, themes, profile settings, and services like AT&T Navigator. You can also view documents with support for Quickoffice.

All I want to know is why AT&T gets all the cool phones first…
