John Deere Introduces All-New Line of Riding Lawn Equipment
March 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- This Spring, John Deere introduces an entirely new line of riding lawn equipment, featuring more than 20 new models, engineered from intense customer research to meet a variety of yard care needs.
"These exciting new tractors demonstrate our commitment to providing products and services that empower homeowners to create the yard of their dreams - regardless of property size, terrain, or size of the task," said Paul Lam, Marketing Director, Small Property Owner Customer Group. "We listened to our customers and developed products that will make a real difference in the way they approach yard and property care. The new equipment, when combined with our strong national dealer network, industry-leading product support and our exclusive Ready To Mow at-home service program, enables us to deliver on this promise."
The new riding lawn equipment is divided into two categories: The 100 Series and The Select Series.
The 100 Series & John Deere Walk-Behind Mowers
The 100 Series and the new John Deere walk-behind mowers are opportunities
for homeowners with small to mid-size yards to experience the pride of owning
a John Deere. The majority of the 100 Series tractors are designed for
homeowners with up to two acres, with the exception of the 190C which is built
for up to three acres. Models in the 100 Series are equipped with exclusive
features, including long-lasting John Deere engines, full-length welded steel
frames, The Edge Cutting System, and the CargO Mount System which
allows for easy installation and removal of attachments and accessories. In
addition, the 155C and the 190C models feature an exclusive new Comfort Plus
package, with adjustable lumbar seats and a soft grip steering wheel. The
three new John Deere walk-behind mowers have quick starting engines and are
self-propelled for easy use. The mowers come standard with attachments for
collecting, mulching and side-discharging clippings.
Customers can visit www.JohnDeere.com/homeowners to find the retail locations where the 100 Series and walk-behinds are sold. These products are also available for purchase online at www.JohnDeere.com/homeowners.
The Select Series Tractors (X300, X500 Multi-Terrain and X700
Ultimate)
The durable Select Series tractors are designed for consumers who desire
to do a variety of light- and heavy-duty tasks and have larger properties of
up to seven acres with more landscape features and challenging terrain. This
versatile line is equipped with exclusive innovations like the iTorque
Power System, a unique combination of hood design and engine features that
provide the torque needed for mowing, hauling and blowing snow in the toughest
conditions. In addition, The Edge Xtra and the new Edge Mulch Mower
Decks provide more cut height options and increased performance on rough
ground. Each family of Select Series tractors features at least one highly
maneuverable 4-wheel steer model.
The Select Series tractors are now available at John Deere dealerships across the country and online at www.JohnDeere.com/homeowners.
John Deere is encouraging customers to take a test drive of the new line at dealerships and upcoming events around the country. "A test drive of riding lawn equipment is very important for customers so that they have a clear understanding of their individual needs, the benefits of the tractors, and the professional expertise and support provided by our dealer network," said Lam.
John Deere is backing the new Select Series line with a 30-day promise where customers can try the equipment for 30 days and if unsatisfied, return it for a different tractor or a refund.
Accompanying the new line is an available service program called Ready To Mow, which provides at-home service for riding lawn equipment. Combined with the expertise of John Deere dealers across the country - all equipped with trained service professionals and high-quality parts - John Deere is committed to keeping its customers' equipment running smoothly for a long time.
