NAD VISO 1 Receives Good Design Award

 NAD VISO 1

NAD Electronics received a Christmas present of their own this holiday season! The company's NAD VISO 1 wireless music system was selected for a 2011 Good Design International Award in the electronics category.

NAD's VISO 1 is a high-end wireless sound system developed for those who demand the best in sound. Priced at $700, the music system works with virtually any device that is Bluetooth-enabled: iPod, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, along with any smartphone, tablet, or laptop.

Featuring NAD's highest-end Direct Digital DAC/amplifier technology (the same used in their $6000 Masters Series M2 DAC/Amplifier), digital music sounds better than you could ever imagine. Digital Direct Amplifier technology bypasses the analog circuits of the iPod (or other device) to deliver excellent sound on a pure digital platform.Read more

NAD's New T 757 AV Receiver is MDC-Equipped, 3D Capable

NAD T 757 AV Receiver front

NAD announced on Monday that its NAD T 757 surround sound AV receiver is now available. The T 757 has all the latest features you would expect in a high-end receiver, but the standout item is the fact that it has NAD's Modular Design Construction (MDC) architecture – a first for a receiver at this price point. MDC makes the T 757 future-proof, allowing it to be easily upgraded to future digital formats.

With the T 757, audio comes first. It includes all of your popular surround sound formats, such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio – all which are decoded using the latest generation of high-speed DSP. Stereo source material can also be converted to surround sound using the company's EARS surround mode.

Audio may come first in the T 757, but that doesn't mean it's lacking in the video department. It features the latest digital video technology, including 3D video at resolutions up to 1080p. Analog video sources are also supported on HDMI for connection to your HDTV or projector. Read more
