T-Mobile announced today the new myTouch 3G Fender Limited Edition. Putting a rock-and-roll spin on the original myTouch 3G with Google, the phone has a Fender guitar sunburst-finish inspired design. They also announced that Eric Clapton has joined forces with T-Mobile on the launch. The device even ships with preloaded Clapton classics including "Layla," "My Father's Eyes," "Rock 'N' Roll Heart," and "Wonderful Tonight."

The Fender Limited Edition comes with a 16GB microSD card, a 3.5mm headset jack for headphones and an enhanced music player. The music player, developed by HTC, lets you toggle between different views or change a song or album by simply touching the album art. You can also create ringtones from songs that are playing. T-Mobile announced today that the myTouch 3G with Google is now available at retail stores and online at www.t-mobilemytouch.com for $199.99 with a two year agreement.

The new myTouch lets you personalize the device with widgets, icons and wallpapers, which can be added directly on the home screen. The Android Market has tons of applications to choose from. In fact, T-Mobile launched a new application in the Market called AppPack, which highlights a sampling of applications. Read more
