Johnny Cash: American V: A Hundred Highways

American V: A Hundred Highways Sometimes when you are cruising around in your car during the summer you want upbeat music, something with a high pace and enlivened lyrics. But then, there are those dog-days when the oppressive heat leaves you looking for something that will just help you mellow out. In the twilight of his career, Johnny Cash recorded the perfect CD for that sort of situation. This summer, Lost Highway Records released Cash’s album American V: A Hundred Highways.

DVD Insider – The Hollow Man Cometh

The Hollow Man Being there but not being there – invisibility – has intrigued scientists and ordinary folks for hundreds, if not thousands of years. Problem is that every movie that has been produced on the subject – The Invisible Man, The Hollow Man and undoubtedly others – has shown that the new power has pushed the individual over the edge to insanity.

We are seeing the same tipping point emerging as we move forward in the digital content era (Figure 1) with digital rights management (DRM) and conditional access (CA). DRM and CA control has become more important than the content to the music industry and Tellywood because they see a big sucking sound from their content-embedded bottomline. With content nearly all digital today, they don’t focus on just the wholesale pirates but view everyone – your grandmother, the 10-year-old down the block and yes, even you -- as a thief.  read more »
