Motorola iRadio System Hits the Road at Consumer Electronics Show 2001

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 4 -- The future is now ... and Motorola has proven it once again with the commercial launch of the Motorola iRadio system today at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. An in-vehicle platform that combines entertainment, location-based information, navigation, emergency calling and communication into one complete, driver-friendly system, the Motorola iRadio system is being displayed at CES Jan. 6-9, 2001 (booth #15032 in the gold lot). Motorola First To Receive Bluetooth Certification On Consumer-Targeted Product

Motorola announced today that it has received full certification from the Bluetooth™ standards body for its two Bluetooth PC products, making them the first products to be allowed to carry the Bluetooth trademark. The Bluetooth qualification process ensures that the product complies with the Bluetooth specification, so those products bearing the Bluetooth mark will work together as expected.
