Mitsubishi today announced a new 75-inch 3D TV, adding to the company’s 60-, 65-, 73- and 82-inch LaserVue and 3D DLP Home Cinema TV models. The LaserVue L75-A91 has all the features of the 65-inch LaserVue model, but adds a Cinema Color mode and StreamTV internet media. It is eco-friendly as well, measuring over 50 percent better than Energy Star qualifications. The company also introduced a 3D Starter Pack with everything you need to watch 3D at home (except the TV, of course).
“3D at the cinema is large, immersive entertainment, and the optimal way to replicate that experience in the home is with Mitsubishi’s mammoth LaserVue and 3D DLP Home Cinema TVs,” said Frank DeMartin, vice president of marketing, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America. “We have one of the largest 3D TVs at 82-inches, and now with the addition of our new 75-inch 3D-ready LaserVue TV with Cinema Color, Mitsubishi 3D TV owners can now feel fully immersed in their favorite 3D movies, 3D games and 3D broadcasts at home.”
The 2010 LaserVue L75-A91 includes 3D-ready technology, StreamTV Internet Media, True120Hz, is Energy Star 4.0 Qualified, Clear Contrast Panel, Plush 1080p 5G 12-bit Digital Video Processing, 6-Color Processor, 4 HDMI, Deep Color and x.v.Color, Easy Connect, USB media input, wired IR input, EdgeEnhance, DeepField Imager and advanced video calibration.
The LaserVue L75-A91 has an MSRP of $5,999.
The 3D Starter Pack (Model 3DC-1000) contains two pairs of active shutter 3D eyewear, a 3D emitter, 3D Adapter with remote, an HDMI cable, and also features a Disney 3D Blu-ray disc with 3D trailers of “A Christmas Carol”, “Alice In Wonderland” and “Toy Story 3″ along with an educational short on 3D presented by Disney’s Timon and Pumba. The 3D Starter Pack will be available in July for $399. The 3D Adapter which is included in the Starter Pack is also available on its own for $99.
