Logic Wireless Intros Logic Bolt 1.5 Projector Phone

Logic Wireless is unveiling its 2nd generation projector phone, the Logic Bolt 1.5, today at the 2009 Fall CTIA Wireless conference. They introduced the first projector phone back in January 2009, the Logic Bolt 1.0. It was a GSM Quadband handset with an integrated pico projector capable of projecting phone content on any surface 60"+.

The new Logic Bolt 1.5 is much smaller than the 1.0 and the software and OS have been upgraded, the company says.

Features of the Logic Bolt 1.5 include:

  • GSM Quadband
  • Dual SIM
  • Dual Camera: 2MP & 1MP
  • 2.6" TFT Touch Screen, 256K Colors
  • FM Tuner + TV Tuner
  • Up to 8GB Micro SD

 Logic Bolt January 8, 2009 - Imagine carrying a big screen TV in your pocket. The world’s first projector phone allows just that.

The new Logic Bolt, created by US-based Logic Wireless, makes its debut at the 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show this week in Las Vegas.

Traditional cell phones provide an amazing amount of information which users are forced to view on palm-sized screens. The tiny screen makes sharing that information difficult.

The new Logic Bolt increases screen size by 3000% or more through a built-in projector that casts razor-sharp images onto a wall or screen. A once “one-user” cell phone becomes a device that creates images large enough for a crowd. Read more
