WaterField Designs just announced three protective cases for the Amazon Kindle 2: the Travel Case, the Slip Case, and the SleeveCase—all custom-fitted to the Amazon Kindle 2.

The Travel Case for the Kindle 2 is a water-resistant case designed with padded, internal compartments to keep the Kindle 2, power adapter, clip light, and accessories organized. The front pocket and main compartment feature self-locking zippers, so that your Kindle 2 (and accessories) stay in. The Travel Case is available in six colors: black, silver, brown, blue, green or red. A removable shoulder strap is also available for $5. MSRP: $49.

The Slip Case for the Kindle 2 features a water-resistant material on the exterior and has a lightly padded, scratch-free liner; and impact-resistant plastic to protect the Kindle 2 screen. It has an open top for easy access to the device. Available in black only. MSRP: $27 Read more
