Apple Lowers iPhone Price, Intros New iPod Touch, nano


 Apple iPod touchApple just announced that they were lowering the price of the 8GB iPhone from $599 to just $399. The 8GB iPhone is available immediately for $399 in the US through Apple’s retail and online stores and AT&T retail stores. The iPhone 4GB model will be sold while supplies last.

Also announced is the new iPod touch with built-in Wi-Fi networking and a multi-touch user interface—first introduced on iPhone—that makes it easy to find all of your music, video, and other digital content and enjoy it on the widescreen display of the iPod touch. The multi-touch interface uses new software to present the perfect user interface for Safari, Apple’s YouTube application, and the new iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store.
