The iPad as a Digital Photo Frame?

Many iPad users may have already discovered by now one of its random features, which is serving as a digital photo frame. For many people, this can simply be seen as the icing on the cake, especially since it is one more convenient function in this portable device. Still many other skeptics feel that it is a pointless feature within the iPad, especially compared to what else it has to offer.

Of course, many people don't want to spend $500 on a simple digital photo frame, but when you are not using the iPad, this can be its backup purpose. The screen for the iPad is 9.7 inches, and it has a 1024 x 768 resolution of 132 pixels each inch. It has 16 GB of storage, and it also offers Wi-Fi if you want to download more pictures to your iPad from Facebook or e-mail.

When you compare this to other digital photo frames on the market for roughly half the cost, you will be getting less resolution, less storage, and a slightly smaller screen, making the iPad quite a deal. So when you are not using the iPad for Facebook, e-mail, or playing apps, set it up on your desk, and use it as a decorative photo frame!
