Apple iMac Line Now Features Intel Core 2 Duo Processors in Every Model

HP Extends Intel Core 2 Duo Availability in Notebook PC Line

August 30, 2006 -- HP today announced that its consumer notebooks will be available for the first time with the Intel® Core 2 Duo mobile processor. The HP notebooks available with the latest Intel processor include the HP Pavilion dv6000 Entertainment Notebook PC, HP Pavilion dv9000 Entertainment Notebook PC and Compaq Presario V6000 Notebook PC. These notebooks are also available with the choice of mobile AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core and mobile AMD Sempron processors.
