New Sharp Microwave

Sharp's new Over the Counter microwaves can be mounted almost anywhere-- in corner cabinets, above islands, over food preparation areas and in nearly any wall cabinet in the kitchen. Unlike traditional built-in models, there is no need to create space around the microwave for ventilation because the OTC-required ventilated air comes through the bottom of the unit. The Sharp OTC microwave features an Auto-Touch control panel which is placed on the lower face of the door, making it easy to reach. The OTC line has 1100 watts of power, a 1.5 cubic foot capacity and a 14-1/8-inch turntable. Under-the-cabinet lighting is included. In addition, an optional accessory kit with two stainless steel bars and eight "S" hooks is available for hanging kitchen utensils.

The R-1200 and R-1201 models include the following features:
