New Foldable Bathroom Scale

Sunbeam adds sleek fashion to the bathroom scale with it’s Health O Meter line. Sunbeam’s latest model, the 'Tuck-a-Weigh' scale, resembles a laptop computer and folds for easy storage. To use, simply pull down the foot plate and step on the scale. Locking springs allow the scale to be opened slowly (much like a laptop computer). The unit also has a convenient carrying handle that makes it simple to store the scale in a closet or under a bed.

The Tuck-a-Weigh scales -- analog model HAB978 and digital model HDL977 -- are expected to be in stores in September 2001 with retail prices ranging from $40 to $80. www.sunbeam.com
