Motorola Home Communications System
Integrate your household landline phone and your mobile calling plan by docking your mobile handset and placing or receiving cellular calls on a cordless phone handset--the choice is yours whether you wish to use your mobile phone minutes or your landline minutes. Add a wireless video camera to the system, and see live video streaming from anywhere in your home on the phone’s color handset display—great for Dad’s working out of a home office who want to keep an eye on the house/sleeping baby, etc.
The SD4500 series is Motorola’s first ever cordless phone system that offers color video monitoring -- so you’re not tied to a fixed monitor. This modular system also includes an add-on cell phone docking station that lets you make or receive cellular calls from the cordless phone handsets and allows access to your cell phone book, all while your cell phone is charging.
Expandable up to eight accessories, including handsets, cell docking stations, or camera/intercom modules that can be used throughout your home or office without requiring additional phone jacks, this 2.4 GHz phone series uses digital frequency-hopping technology for added clarity and security. The expansion handsets provide six hours of talk time, and features battery back-up in the event of a power outage. Available Summer 2005. www.motorola.com
