Glass Door Refrigerator

Sub Zero 601RG RefrigeratorNo longer will consumers have to stand in front of an open refrigerator trying to decide what to prepare. Sub-Zero Freezer Company's newest custom model, the 601RG glass door front, is an advance in both design and technology. The contemporary glass door design is scheduled to hit retail showrooms during second quarter 2002 and offers 19.9 cubic feet of storage—more interior space to compensate for no on-door shelving. The subdued interior light can be set to glow softly with the door shut, adding a warm effect to a kitchen. When the door is opened, the interior light switches to full illumination.

The unit will be equipped with the standard features of Sub-Zero’s 600 Series, including the Stainless Steel finish and additional options of overlay or framed. The 600 Series also provides for exceptional food preservation. Electronic controls offer more accurate, precise temperature adjustment, maintaining the temperature to plus or minus one degree of the homeowner’s choice. An adaptive defrost helps save energy by continuously adapting to usage patterns and climate needs. Dual refrigeration provides for two separate, self-controlled cooling systems.

Built by hand with the Sub-Zero refrigeration system at its heart, the 601RG unit meets stringent energy requirements and uses less energy than a 60-watt light bulb.
