Cool Stuff to Keep You Warm

It was Friday, the 13th, a day before Valentine's. As grandparents, we celebrate the day before typically so we can be with our grandchildren on Valentine's Day. My husband was on his way home from work and decided to give me a call. He said he had something for me . . . socks. Socks??? Isn't that what he is supposed to receive along with ties at Christmas? Maybe I misunderstood and he meant some new software or something. Surely not socks!

I was so excited because he would be arriving home early. However, as you can imagine, that excitement quickly dwindled when he handed me none other than a pair of socks! Well, I must admit I couldn't get too upset at this point as truly I needed the socks to go out that evening. Besides, they were blue to match the jeans. So, I slipped on the pair of Smartwool Women's Adrenaline crew socks. Immediately, I was amazed at the difference I felt in my feet - like I have never felt before with a pair of socks. And, what better way to annoy my spouse just a bit for bringing me a pair of socks! Well, much to my chagrin . . . it didn't work!

So, I dug the wrapper out of the trash to investigate what makes the socks so special.
