LG Electronics previewed its new Internet refrigerator at the International Housewares Show in Chicago. The double door unit features a built-in flat panel touch screen that connects to the Internet for Web Surfing and email retrieval. Although company officials say the cyber fridge will be available by the end of the year, LG is notorious for innovations that never come to market. In addition to the refrigerator, LG showed an Internet microwave and a networked washing machine too.
