wallet for vacation, Hotels.com just announced
that it is offering customers a gasoline rebate to help take the sting
out of elevated prices at the pump. Travelers booking accommodations for two nights or more will receive up
to $30 back from Hotels.com.
For those wondering where to go on one tank of gas Hotels.com Road
Trips provides travelers information and booking capabilities up to six
hours from their homes. Entering a zip code will return a list of destinations
with recommendations for accommodations, dining and attractions. Additional
features allow travelers to refine their search with the option of sorting
destinations by city name or travel distance from home. Travelers may book
online at www.hotels.com or call 1-800-RoadTrips.
Travelers will find a “Gasoline Rebate” icon on hotels.com after clicking
the deals and specials tab on the homepage providing them with details of the
promotion. To qualify for the rebate travelers must book accommodations now
through June 19, 2005 for two nights or more at any of the more than 400
markets worldwide serviced by Hotels.com for stays through Labor Day weekend,
September 5, 2005. Upon completion of their trip, travelers simply need to
mail in a copy of their gasoline receipt along with the rebate certificate
they printed from hotels.com. Hotels.com will then credit their charge card
for the amount spent on gas up to $30. See www.hotels.com for full
details.
