Sunfire Theater Grand Processor and Amplifiers; Performance with Multi-Room Convenience

 Sunfire TGP-401 and TGA-7401

If you are looking to upgrade your home theater system, look no further than Sunfire, a company that specializes in luxury audio/video products.

Their TGP-401 Processor is an audiophile-grade processor featuring three HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interfaces) v1.3a inputs and one HDMI output and is the only pre-amp that accepts the world's most advanced multi-room, multi-zone controller — the ELAN Olé. This 1080p-capable switcher carries uncompressed digital video transmissions between HDMI source components, the TGP-401, and HDMI-compatible display devices. With a user-friendly connector, the HDMI protocol supports standard, enhanced and high-definition digital video on a single cable.

The TGR-401 includes SIRIUS, AM and FM tuners, an eight-channel input for DVD-Audio or SACD, eight balanced XLR outputs, and a video format conversion system that automatically up-converts Composite video to S-Video, and S-Video to Component video. The system's LCD-based remote comes pre-programmed for the TGR-401, has full learning capabilities, and features optional RF capabilities for operating components that are hidden behind cabinet doors.

Other features include Sunfire's Sonic Holography technology which enhances the perceived soundstage of any stereo recording, and SunTools, a PC application that provides easy programming for use with Sunfire's 401 series electronics and Ole-2SF interactive touchpads. The TGP-401 is available now with an MSRP of $3500.

Sunfire's two new Theater Grand Amplifiers TGA-7401 and TGA-7201 are the perfect complement to the TGP-401. These amplifiers are ideal for demanding Home Theater systems. With up to 400Watts x 7 channels available, each amp produces a soundstage that dynamically reproduces both movie soundtracks and music.

Both Theater Grand Amplifiers feature the company's Tracking Downconverter as well as Voltage and Current source outputs. TDC is Sunfire's patented power supply design, which produces tremendous power while keeping the chassis cool - regardless of load or volume level. Its unique "just-in-time" approach generates almost no heat and makes it possible to design powerful components without the need for fans. The Voltage and Current source outputs provide the high-current drive benefits of Class A/B, in concert with a warmer tube-like output. The TGA amps also provide simple integration with the TGP-401 via 12 volt trigger turn on or signal sense.

Sunfire's TGA-7401 is available now with an MSRP of $4450, and the TGA-7201 is available for $3250. For more information on Sunfire, visit www.sunfire.com.
