GE Announces 12.2 Megapixel Touch Screen Digital Camera

 GE E1250TW

General Imaging just announced what they call their most "feature-rich touch-screen digital camera yet", the GE E1250TW. This 12.2 megapixel camera has a 3.0-inch LCD screen, 5x optical zoom, 28mm wide-angle lens, Auto Scene Detection, Face, Blink and Smile Detection, Auto-Adjust LCD, Red-Eye Removal, HDTV output, and is powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery.

But what makes this camera stand out is its touch panel controls. Simply sweep your finger along the touch panel to rotate and zoom, along with many other touch-controlled functions.

The E1250TW also features Pan-Capture Panorama to easily take scenic-wide pictures – with a single release of the shutter, a panned scene can be captured easier than ever before.

The E1250TW debuted on HSN on June 22 and will be available through Amazon.com and other retailers for $199.
