Gateway Unveils Ultra-Thin EC Series Notebook Computers

Gateway just introduced the new EC Series notebook computer line. Available later this week, the laptops will come in two sizes – 15.6-inch and 11.6-inch ultraportable.

The 15.6-inch EC58 and EC54 start at 5.29 pounds, are an inch thin and feature an ultra-durable aluminum alloy design, Intel Core 2 Duo and Pentium Dual-Core processors, 802.11b/g Draft-N wireless, Dolby Sound Room audio enhancement and two built-in speakers. They run on Windows 7 Home Premium and have a Multi-Gesture Touchpad. Gateway Intros One ZX Series Multi-Touch PCs

Gateway just introduced the Gateway One ZX Series, all-in-one desktop PCs with multi-touch displays.

The new One ZX6800 Series was made with gamers in mind. Included in the line is the high-performance model One ZX6810-01 featuring a 23-inch widescreen display, Intel Core 2 Quad processor and ATI HD4670 graphics, 1TB hard drive and 64GB solid state drive (SSD), HD webcam, wireless keyboard and mouse, Hybrid TV Tuner with remote control and high-def audio with 5.1-channel surround sound support. The One ZX6810-01 runs on Windows 7 Home, Premium Edition, 64-bit. The MSRP is $1399.99.

The less expensive (yet still powerful) One ZX4800 Series is perfect for smaller places like a dorm room, kitchen, or home office. Gateway Netbook Coming to Verizon

Verizon Wireless and Gateway announced today that the Gateway LT2016u netbook now comes with Verizon Wireless' Mobile Broadband service built into the device. The Gateway LT2016u will be available October 4th at www.verizonwireless.com and in Verizon Wireless Stores for $149.99 (after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement).

The netbook features a 10.1-inch high-definition WSVGA LED backlit display and comes well-equipped with 1 GB of memory, 160 GB hard drive and a digital media card reader. The 6-cell battery provides battery life of up to six hours.Read more

Gateway Announces New Mini-Tower and Small Form Factor PCs

Gateway has just announced two smaller, more powerful back-to-school desktop PCs. From the tiny small form factor SX Series to the compact DX Series mini-tower line, Gateway's new desktops are big on value, power and features.

The Gateway SX small form factor PC, pictured above, comes with a 2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Quad processor, GMA X4500 integrated graphics card, 4GB DDR3 SDRAM, 640GB HDD, an 18x DVD writer, multi-card reader, nine USB 2.0 ports, multi-card reader, firewire and eSATA, HDMI and VGA outputs, and Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit. All of this will cost you just $499.

The Gateway DX mini-tower boasts either an Intel Core 2 Quad or AMD Phenom X4 with either an NVIDIA GeForce G210 or ATI Radeon 4650 graphics card. You can also get up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, 1TB HDD, eight USB 2.0 ports, and all the other amenities of the SX sff for a starting price of $750.

At just 3.04 lbs. and 1.03-inches thick, the Gateway LT3103u Netbook is super portable. It sports an 11.6-inch high-definition, LED-backlit display, along with a 1.2GHz Athlon 64 L110 processor with an integrated ATI Radeon X1270 graphics card. You can outfit this netbook with up to 2GB of RAM and 250GB of HDD. It also features a card reader, 802.11b/g, webcam, three USB 2.0 port, a 6-cell Li-ion battery and Windows Vista Basic.

Gateway Announces New FX Series Gaming PCs featuring the Intel Core i7 Processor


 Gateway FX Series Gaming PC Gateway  is getting on board the Core i7 train with a couple of nice gaming focused desktops. The quad-core Intel Core i7 processors run the preloaded 64-bit Windows Vista Home Premium OS. Accompanying the performance design of the Core i7, they use fast DD3 memory.
