FUJIFILM unveiled the X-Pro1 interchangeable lens digital camera at CES last month, and now we know just how much this bad boy will cost. Available at the end of February 2012, you can pick up the FUJIFILM X-Pro1 (body only) for a hefty $1,699.95.

The FUJIFILM X-Pro1 boasts a brand new, custom developed 16MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor, new color filter array and Fujifilm's EXR Processor Pro technology which work together, as the company says, "to deliver superlative image quality that will rival currently available mid and high-end DSLR models."

The camera also features a new 2nd Generation Hybrid Multi Viewfinder and three prime interchangeable FUJINON lenses – the 18mm (27mm equivalent) f/2.0, 35mm (53mm equivalent) f/1.4 and 60mm (90mm equivalent) f/2.4. Read more

FUJIFILM has announced the X10, a very cool new edition to the camera maker's line-up, and an old-school design to boot.

X10 has a new larger 2/3" 12 megapixel EXR CMOS sensor and a bright high-definition F2.0 wide-angle to F2.8 telephoto 4x manual zoom lens. A 2.8-inch LCD sits on its back and the camera itself is crafted from die-cast magnesium alloy, making it strong enough to survive even the most heavy handed of users. It can, of course, capture full HD video and produce professional-like shots. And, if you were wondering, there is a pop-up flash.

The new X10 also has a wider aperture and offers full manual exposure controls, a RAW shooting mode, and a few unique extras that should make it a compelling competitor for other performance-minded (semi-)compact cameras.

In addition to its throw-back aesthetics, the X10 lets you select between manual focus and autofocus via a front-mounted dial. The X10's lens has maximum aperture settings of F2.0 wide-angle to F2.8 telephoto, and is very fast at the telephoto end.

Besides a back-mounted 2.8-inch-diagonal LCD viewfinder, the X10 also offers an eye-level optical viewfinder, and an electronic level, which you use via the LCD screen. Shooting modes are as follows: aperture-priority, shutter-priority, full manual exposure modes, a signal-to-noise mode for capturing low-noise shots in dim lighting, a high-dynamic-range mode, and a high-resolution mode for well-lit situations. Fujifilm added a new digital camera to its Z-series line, the FinePix Z900 EXR. The Z900 EXR comes packed with a 16-megapixel EXR CMOS sensor, a FUJINON 5x wide angle refractive optical zoom lens (28-140mm equivalent) and a 3.5-inch, 16X9 touch screen LCD display.

Features include a new EXR Auto mode that recognizes 27 scenes, one-touch access to 1080p HD movie capture and an intuitive Dual Direction GUI with "tap and shoot" capabilities for fast image tagging with automatic upload to YouTube and Facebook.

The camera captures full 1080p HD movie files (.MOV) in stereo at 30fps with H.264 compression, and has a mini-HDMI output for viewing images/videos on your HDTV (HDMI cable not included).Read more

The camera folks have sure been busy lately. We just told you about Panasonic's five new LUMIX digital cameras, and now Fujifilm has announced new FinePix digital cams - the F300EXR, Z800EXR, S2800HD and JX280.

FinePix F300EXR
Measuring just 23 mm thick, Fujifilm's new FinePix F300EXR features a 12-megapixel EXR super CCD, 15x Fujinon Super Wide-Angle lens (24mm – 360mm equivalent) and has a 3.0" 460K LCD. The camera shoots HD video at 720p.

The F300EXR also has a Hybrid High Speed Auto Focus system which uses both Phase Detection AF and Contrast AF. The camera automatically selects the better focus system by measuring the amount of light or contrast in the scene, allowing for super-fast auto focus speeds.Read more

Fujifilm today announced a slew of new FinePix digital cameras, and with 13 new models there is something for everyone – from the novice user, all the way to the serious photographer. Fujifilm's FinePix REAL 3D system is now available in the United States. Unlike any other digital camera on the market today, the FinePix REAL 3D system captures realistic 3D still photographs and movies that can be viewed without 3D glasses.

The Finepix Real 3D W1 digital camera is the first camera in the company's lineup. It features 2 lenses and 2 CCD's. Two images are captured with the left and right lenses at the same time. The dual Fujinon lenses then layer the two images together to create a 3D image. Read more

Fujifilm just announced the availability of the Instax Mini 7S Instant Film Camera and Instax Mini Instant Color Film to the United States. This is the second Instax instant camera available from Fujifilm for the US market. The first, the Instax 200 Instant Camera System, was introduced in the fall of 2008 for those wanting an instant film camera.
