Vizrea Snap Photo Service for Camera Phone UsersFeb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Determined to build a photo service that also works well for camera phone users, Vizrea Corp. today introduced a free trial of its flagship product, Vizrea Snap. Vizrea Snap is a downloadable software application for mobile phones and PCs. Vizrea Snap helps users organize all their photos (as well as video and audio files) and easily share them with friends and family on the Web, PC or their camera phones. It also automatically sends photos between a camera phone and a PC or Web site in an organized way. Vizrea Snap is being launched with support for Nokia Series 60 smart phones and can be downloaded directly from www.vizrea.com. "Camera phones are the new mass market snapshot device for both photos and video. Vizrea lets consumers easily take advantage of this trend without leaving their existing photos and videos behind," said Mike Toutonghi, president and CEO of Vizrea. "Vizrea Snap is the only complete photo solution that lets a user capture an image and in zero steps categorize it, store it where they want it kept, and share it."
State-of-the-Art Photo Service With Vizrea Snap, the camera phone is no longer an island. Unlike other solutions, Vizrea Snap automatically sends photos to the user's PC (via the phone's data connection or Bluetooth technology), organizes the photos with all the user's other photo collections and gives the user the option to share the photos via an automatically created, Vizrea-hosted Web site. In addition, any photo on the users' PC or Vizrea-hosted Web site can be viewed on their camera phone. Vizrea Snap users can even view their friends' photos on their camera phone or their own PC. Vizrea Snap turns the camera phone into a portable digital photo album. The explosive growth of camera phones, combined with Vizrea's innovative yet easy-to-use technology, puts Vizrea's new service at the center of a sea change in how consumers are taking photos. Future Image Inc.'s Mobile Imaging Report estimated that more than 300 million camera phones were sold in 2005, over three times more than the number of digital cameras sold. Nokia recently announced that it is the leading manufacturer of cameras worldwide. And imaging quality is rapidly improving, with multipixel camera phones becoming more common worldwide.
