Viking Introduces Refrigerated Beverage Center and Wine Cellar Options
Viking Range Corporation, the originator of commercial-type cooking products for the home, has enhanced its lines of undercounter/freestanding refrigerated beverage centers and wine cellars with several new interior and exterior features.
Viking Professional and Designer Series undercounter/freestanding 15” and 24” W. refrigerated beverage centers will now be available with a black or white interior. The choice between black and white interiors will give consumers added flexibility when deciding which color best suits their space and environment. The refrigerated beverage centers feature 3.0 cubic feet of storage in the 15”W. model and 6.1 cubic feet of storage in the 24”W. model. Both units have wire shelves combined with full-width tempered glass shelves, creating a perfect environment for both beverage and wine storage.
The Viking Professional and Designer Series undercounter/freestanding 15” and 24” W. wine cellar now reflects the same design aesthetics as the Viking built-in 30” W. full-height wine cellar with an all-black interior and maple wood shelf fronts throughout each unit. Six coated wire shelves store 24 bottles of wine horizontally in the 15” W. model and 54 bottles in the 24” W. model. These shelves pull out for easy access and can be removed to store larger wine bottles. A new keyed door lock is standard on glass front units for protection of stored wines. Consumers who may already have the larger Viking wine cellars or appreciate the overall design of these cellars but are limited on space can enjoy these smaller units without losing the overall design and appeal of Viking wine cellars.
Both Professional Series and Designer Series models for the undercounter/freestanding refrigerated beverage centers and wine cellars are available with a solid stainless, clear glass or fluted glass door. Consumers can also choose one of the Viking designer colors for their solid door. For those who prefer a blended look, glass door units are available with the Full Overlay option, offering the customer the ability to customize their units with locally supplied panels which frame the glass door. The Full Overlay models also blend seamlessly into the surrounding cabinetry.
