Ulead Unveils Disney Magic Artist Digital Photo Slideshow Software

December 2004 – Ulead Systems, Inc., a 15-year, industry-leader in developing digital media software, and Disney Interactive, a publishing label of Buena Vista Games, Inc., have developed a special version of DVD PictureShow 2, Ulead’s digital photo slideshow creation software, under the Disney Magic Artist brand. Disney Magic Artist featuring Ulead DVD PictureShow is designed to bring families together to transform digital photos into entertaining Video CD slideshows that they can share on TV using a standard DVD player. The software targets the growing number of families that take digital photos, own a computer with a CD burner, and want a fun and easy way to preserve and share their digital memories.

Disney Magic Artist featuring Ulead DVD PictureShow has a step-by-step interface designed with popular Disney characters that guides kids and parents through the process of creating slideshows. The entire family will have fun adding Disney-themed special effects, text, and music, to their photo slideshows and burning their final production to a CD with an interactive menu – just like in commercial DVDs.

Software Features
With Ulead’s new PictureShow software, kids and parents can organize their photos into multiple slideshows based on three different Disney themes: Mickey and Friends, Winnie the Pooh and Friends, and Disney Princesses. After choosing a theme, families can easily insert photos into a storyboard where they can add text as well as Disney transitions and frames around individual photos. It’s easy to further customize slideshows with music and voice narration.

Families can also choose from a variety of Disney-themed menu backgrounds to present their slideshows. When the slideshow is complete, the wizard-driven workflow guides parents and kids through the process of burning their slideshow creations to a CD. Family and friends will enjoy watching the Video CD slideshow in the comfort of their living room using a standard DVD player or a computer.
