Tunes, Music Videos and More From Verizon Wireless
Oct. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- From downloading tunes on the phone, to music videos to summer concert performances, plus Ringback and ring tones, Verizon Wireless offers customers a wide range of ways to enjoy music with a selection of phones that let customers take their music with them wherever they go. Regardless of preference, Verizon Wireless gives customers music that's mobile -- and on the same device they talk on everyday.
The LG VX9800, LG VX8100, Motorola E815, Samsung a950, Samsung a970 and UTStarcom CDM-8940 come equipped with MP3 players and are available today from the operator of the nation's most reliable wireless network. Verizon Wireless customers can download songs from any PC and listen to them on their music- capable phones whenever they choose. Download music to standard memory cards, insert a card into the phone and listen to music. All of these phones have removable memory so customers can make their entire music library mobile -- use MiniSD or TransFlash cards to create playlists by music genre or mood.
V CAST Music Videos
These phones are also equipped with V CAST -- the first wireless broadband
consumer multimedia service in the country. The V CAST Entertainment category
offers the latest in music, including the V CAST Showcase Channel that allows
customers to download and view crystal clear music videos from favorite
artists. For months, Verizon Wireless customers have been downloading their
favorite music videos to their V CAST phones and watching them wherever they
go.
Front Row Seats at Summer Concerts: The V CAST Encore Channel
The V CAST Encore Channel -- exclusive to Verizon Wireless -- rocked
customers this summer with concert performance videos from this summer's busy
concert schedule. Within days of various concerts, top artists in rock, pop,
alternative, country, world and hip-hop offered concert video of a few of
their songs for a limited time. In 2005, V CAST customers watched 311, Avril
Lavigne and 3 Doors Down summer concert performances most often, checking out
various shows from across the country on their wireless phones.
Play Music with Ringback Tones and Ring Tones
Verizon Wireless customers can play music for their friends with Ringback
tones -- callers hear true tunes from the hottest acts today, like Shakira,
Black Eyed Peas, INXS, plus exclusive tracks and more. Check out more than
2,000 Ringback tones to choose from at www.verizonwireless.com/ringback.
Verizon Wireless also offers an extensive list of ring tones so that customers can play music for those around them when the phone rings. There are thousands available for download in the getTONES shopping aisle on Get It Now-enabled phones.

points to fit all music-hungry customers -- from the budget-conscious to the
sky's-the-limit spender. For less than a Benjamin, Verizon Wireless customers

mail-in rebate and two-year customer agreement. Customers can also groove
