Tumi Introduces a Limited Edition Luggage Collection – Shock

December 2004 – Want to stand out from the crowd without compromising style or quality? Tumi, the leading brand of prestige travel and executive accessories, introduces Shock – a limited edition collection that is bound to turn heads. Shock consists of four travel pieces – a wheel a way, an accessory satchel, a carry-on satchel and a sport duffle all in bold orange ballistic nylon weave with tan leather trim.

“Shock is designed with a modern customer in mind, one who demands a sophisticated level of design in their travel accessories” says Tumi’s Vice President of Design, Timm Fenton. Design features in the collection include new oval telescoping handle tubes with comfortable molded handles on the wheel-a-way, recessed in-line skate wheels with “hub-caps”, a new jacquard lining featuring Tumi’s “T” logo and brushed stainless steel hardware.

The four pieces will be available exclusively in Tumi stores and at www.tumi.com. They will retail between $295 for the accessory satchel and $550 for the wheel-a-way. Each features a unique serial number on a distinctive silver limited edition plaque.
