Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 Named Console Sports Game of the Year

March 19, 2002 - Activision, Inc.'s (Nasdaq: ATVI) top-selling game of 2001, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 was honored with the Best Console Sports Game of the Year award by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences. The award was presented at the 5th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards ceremony, held at the D.I.C.E. Summit in Las Vegas. "This honor is special because it represents recognition from our peers in the video game industry," said Joel Jewett, President, Neversoft Entertainment. "The credit goes to all the guys on the team whose work and dedication made Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 possible."
