Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 Will Be First Action Sports Title Released for New Hand Held System
March 7 Activision, Inc. today confirmed that its blockbuster action sports title Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 will be released simultaneously with the U.S. launch of Nintendo's highly anticipated Game Boy(R) Advance. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 will be the first action sports title to be released on the portable gaming system.

Activision is currently in development on a dynamic slate of six games for the Game Boy Advance, including titles based on such hit brands as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Spider-Man and X-Men.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 for the Game Boy Advance recreates the thrill of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater franchise with new level designs, gameplay and technology. Players choose to ride with the skills of Tony Hawk, the most recognized skateboarding pro of all time, or as one of 12 top pro skaters from the same star-studded line-up that is in the PlayStation(R) game console version. Players perform hundreds of tricks with an intuitive and solid control scheme in a variety of realistic, obstacle-filled locations. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 is being developed for Activision by Vicarious Visions,Inc.
